Dr. Lisa Damour | Beyond All or Nothing: A Pragmatic Approach to Social Technologies
04.03.2025
Thank you to those that were able to join us for our conversation with Dr. Lisa Damour about pragmatic approaches to social technologies followed by a mental health Q&A with Dr. Katja Ermann, a psychologist at Ryther, and Susanna Strode, LICSW. We had a great turnout, and there were engaging, insightful questions from the attendees. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to join us!
Dr. Damour encouraged us to take a stepwise approach to social technologies based on ages and stages of our kids without having to make all or nothing decisions. Dr. Damour discussed the potential benefits of social technologies (from texting to social media) as well as concerns to look out for with use of social technologies. Dr. Damour provided practical tips for initiating the use of social technologies and for monitoring and progressing as kids get older. Be sure to check out all the great links she’s provided free access to below, as well as the event recording!
