PNW Parent Education Holiday Trunk Show

November 19-21, 2021

Make an impact, get your holiday shopping checked off!

We love helping to make an impact on our local community, and we know you do too! Our events are free to attend, but since we honor the time and value of our speakers, they can be costly to produce. Our Holiday Trunk show is one of the ways that we raise money for our programming.

This year marks our 5th Trunk Show, and the first time we’re doing it virtually. Last year we didn’t hold one and we can’t wait to see you back in person, but for this year, we are happy to bring it back in limited scale. Please check out our wonderful vendors below who have generously committed a portion of their profits during our Trunk Show to PNW Parent Education.

How to shop our Trunk Show

You can check out our vendors below and shop directly through them. We also have set up a Facebook Group where you can learn more about our vendors. Some of them will be “going live” throughout the weekend where you may be able to score a giveaway or see more of their goods!

Scout & Cellar - Stephanie policar, consultant

Scout & Cellar sources Clean-Crafted™ wine from all over the world, creating and bottling wildly delicious wines with an authentic sense of place, working directly with growers and producers who embody our Clean-Crafted Commitment® in their daily practices. We walk through the vineyards, visit the cellars, share meals together. The end result? Delicious wines. Better in the bottle. Better in your glass. Better for the planet.

For a wine to be considered Clean-Crafted™, it goes through two rounds of independent lab testing to guarantee that it's free of yucky stuff like synthetic pesticides and chemical additives and has fewer than 100ppm of total sulfites. We also evaluate and review farming and production practices to confirm that they are, in fact, Clean-Crafted.

wandering soul knits

Meet Katie Huss, the knitting momma of 3 fierce girls. These beautiful, warm, handmade knits are inspired by Katie’s love of the PNW outdoors. Wandering Soul Knits was born out of a need to care for Katie’s mental health and a desire to create something that was only hers during a time where life was spinning out of control. The tangible act of working with her hands was grounding and created a space for both growth and healing.

Katie uses high quality materials that support small, local when possible and woman owned businesses. Each beanie is made with 100% Merino or Peruvian wool that has been hand dyed in small batches making each skein of yarn beautifully unique. The fiber is incredibly soft, which makes for a product that is warm, cozy and itch-free. Because it is both moisture wicking and odor resistant, it makes having a product that is hand wash only worth it. The company that creates the yarn supports women in South America and does not practice mulesing, which is harmful to sheep. Your product is handmade with a lot of love so please hand wash with care, spot clean only and lay flat to dry. Faux fur poms should be removed (easily with a tied string) and can be fluffed with a blow dryer on low heat.

Each knit piece is inspired by Katie’s love of nature, specifically the PNW. Both the color and texture are reflections of what she’s discovered from feeling the breeze come off the water, to how the seasons change the vibe of a trail in the mountains. And of course, Wandering Soul Knits are designed to accompany you on all of those adventures.

Check out Katie’s handiwork on Instagram and purchase via direct messages.
